I know how to do this and have done it before, (really helps and works!), but I do have a question on this: Is there a set "range" for different cd drives? (I have a BenQ, and believe the range is 4.0 to 6.04) Would it be "safe" to keep my cd drive in this level? (Note: I just checked my drive and it was reading 3.47, and I was getting an "Attempting to read media" for a dvd, but games work fine. I've adjusted it to 4.64, as of 10/16/14.) Just want to be absolutely sure.
