Flashed my xbox360 and have questions regarding burning games

Hello,

Today I flashed my xbox using this tutorial http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/complete-benq-flash-tutorial.813974/

I just had 2 questions the first one is easy but I'd still like to know for sure:
Does this allow me to play burned games on a verbatium disk?
Can I use any dual layer burner or does it need to be a specific one?
