Help with jtag online

Hi,
Should I download Call of duty: Ghosts iso or jtag rip ? I want to go online so I wont use FSD. Can someone explain me how does it work. If I use God version can I launch it from xex menu or xbox neigborhood ? and where I can find last TU for Ghosts and how to update it. Please help
