Flashing a DG-16d2s

Okay so basically I want to be able to flash my own consoles of any type, But I have never done one... And I want to be prepared with everything I need to know and tools I will need... I'm sick of paying people to flash my drive when it's seems so simple it's just that I don't have the right tools for the jobs it seems..


I believe all I need is the programs which I should have, a power source and sata cable for the drive, and some sort of Probe?
I have the the drive, power source and sata...
